Homebuilder Woodbridge Pacific Group On Track With Expansion Plan

Third Quarter Holds Project Openings & Completions In California Markets

"WPG's expansion plan includes Palm Springs, La Quinta, Chino and Bakersfield, with new home designs and neighborhoods tailored to each market," said Principal Todd Cunningham.

MISSION VIEJO, CA, June 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Orange County-based homebuilder/developer Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG) reports strong performance through 2016's second quarter, and five new projects opening by year-end. WPG Principal Todd Cunningham credits a healthy market and new home neighborhoods that address the lifestyle expectations of WPG's targeted homebuyers.

"WPG's expansion plan includes Palm Springs, La Quinta, Chino and Bakersfield, with new home designs and neighborhoods tailored to each market," said Cunningham. "We're also completing two very successful Orange County projects."

Palm Springs--With sales opening by mid-summer, WPG's Skye neighborhood in downtown Palm Springs is attracting an eclectic audience of upscale buyers seeking an in-city lifestyle and mid-century modern designs. Pricing is to be announced.

La Quinta--Selling in its second phase after a spring opening, WPG's Monterra PGA WEST offers one of the final opportunities for a new home in PGA WEST, a 2,200-acre golf and lifestyle community of La Quinta. Pricing is from the high $700,000s.

Chino--Coming this fall is Hillcrest in the Orange County master-planned community of Chino Hills. Hillcrest will total 76 new luxury homes in a private, elevated setting. Pricing is expected to begin in the low $1 millions.

Bakersfield--A November opening is anticipated at the first new neighborhoods of Belcourt, WPG's new master-planned community in Southwest Bakersfield. Pricing is expected to begin in the $400,000s at Mahogany and Patina, while Sterling's custom homesites will begin in the $100,000s. Belcourt will incorporate a pedestrian- and bike-friendly living environment, highlighted by arts and culture elements, open space and community amenities.

Huntington Beach--Brightwater, which opened to buyer campouts when WPG re-positioned this master-planned community in 2013, is in final sales at the luxury home neighborhood of Azurene, with sales completed at the Capri and Seaglass neighborhoods. Selections include Azurene's model homes.

San Juan Capistrano--Also in final sales is Mirador, the second and final enclave of Rancho San Juan. Final selections include Mirador's model homes.

Noted for architecturally distinctive homes in premier locations, WPG was founded by Cunningham and Carl Neuss in 2011, formalizing a collaboration begun when Cunningham was president of Woodbridge Homes and Neuss headed Pacific Cascade Group (PCG), his land development company. Equity capital from WPG's established financial partner; revenues that match top performing companies nationwide and broadened capabilities in land acquisition and asset management have facilitated WPG's expanding development portfolio.
