Mosquito Control Device Installed at Global Technology Deployment Initiative; http://deployglobaltech.com/

Zika Threat Is Being Combated By Device's Integrated Pest Management Solution

DENVER, CO, July 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- IPM Product Manufacturing, Inc. (IPM) announced today that its proprietary SolaRid insect control device has been installed at the headquarters of the Global Technology Deployment Initiative (GTDI - http://deployglobaltech.com) in Little Rock, AR. The GTDI is a global organization that helps technology providers accelerate the deployment of their technology and services in rural and poor areas worldwide. IPM's patent pending combination of sensory technologies is designed to attract and kill mosquitoes and other insects. The area of the unit's installation, along the banks of the Arkansas River and adjacent to the William J. Clinton Presidential Library, was chosen as a demonstration site because of the prestige of the GTDI and the device's proximity to water, which is a common breeding ground for mosquitoes and other flying insects.

CONTROL OF ZIKA VIRUS THROUGH A SUPERIOR INSECT CONTROL DEVICE
With the CDC's recent warning over the danger of the Zika virus, IPM is responding to the demand of national and international governments for effective mosquito control. "We employ a comprehensive technological solution that kills insects without the need for genetic modification or chemicals that adversely affect fish and the wildlife that perform positive functions in nature", according to Randy Sasaki, CEO of IPM Product Management, Inc.

Both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) advocate using an "Integrated Pest Management" strategy of mosquito control, consisting of an ecologically based approach that involves complementary interventions used in combination for eradication. IPM's integrated insect control unit works within that construct by using light, sound and smell as multiple attractants while leaving local culture and ecosystem functions undisturbed and without needlessly broadcasting pesticides into the environment, which affect mosquitoes and non-targeted beneficial insects alike.

IPM's SolaRid insect control device is designed to be more effective than its current competitors thanks to its a. proprietary technology, b. low-cost maintenance and c. its durability to run for either 12 or 24 hours each day, 365 days a year.

The Mission of the GTDI Is SHARED BY IPM PRODUCT MANUFACTURING, INC.
The mission of the Global Technology Deployment Initiative is to work with global technology providers to accelerate their deployment of technology and services to new customers and markets which these companies may not otherwise have access to in the short or intermediate term. GTDI accomplishes this mission by assisting the companies in developing specialized strategic plans, including new business models to identify resources from a variety of sources and connecting the companies with new multiplier sales channels, distributors, project developers and directly to customers. IPM shares that mission and is working with NGO's, agriculture consortiums and commercial enterprises to offer its innovative insect control technology globally. Mosquitoes alone cause more human suffering than any other organism -- over one million people worldwide die from mosquito-borne diseases every year. Not only can mosquitoes carry diseases that afflict humans, they also transmit several diseases that are life threatening to dogs and horses.
