In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Jez has served as the president of the Pennsylvania Middle School Association.

TITUSVILLE, PA, July 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Karen E. Jez has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Jez embarked on her career after earning a Bachelor of Science in art education from Edinboro University in 1986. Two years later, she became a secondary art teacher at the Valley Grove School District and served as a teacher at the Titusville Area School District until 1996. That same year, Ms. Jez earned a Master of Science in education and a letter of eligibility from Westminster College. Over the years, she has held several positions, including middle school principal, and assistant superintendent and superintendent of the Titusville Area School District -- the latter being her current position.

Her motto is "Educating children is the most important thing our community does!"

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Jez has served as the president of the Pennsylvania Middle School Association. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association School Administrators, and a board member of the Pennsylvania Rural and Small Schools Association. President of the Titusville Area United Way Board 2013-2014, Ms. Jez has been featured in the 69th and 70th editions of Who's Who in America.
