Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Patricia "Trish" Leonard as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

Patricia "Trish" Leonard was recently featured in Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016 and will soon be featured in their Top 10 Women of Business edition in 2016/2017.

For more than 25 years, Leonard has been building a professional network in Southwest Florida. Beginning her career as a Crew Member with McDonald's Corporation in 1976 for 20 years, she later accepted a position as Membership Director for the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, which really set the stage for her professional career. Increasing memberships and hosting annual fundraisers, Leonard became a master of innovation and a very trustworthy person within her community. In 2009, she co-founded Love That Dress, a charity where women donate their gently-used dresses so that others can purchase them for as little as $5 to wear at special events and for everyday business attire. The funds raised are then given to PACE Center for Girls, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps at-risk girls stay in school through mentoring and guidance of successful business women in the community.

Leonard was named 2011 Woman of the Year by Zonta Club of Bonita Springs, a non-profit, international business women's organization, and was a recipient of the 2016 Naples Daily News 25 over 50 award. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Estero Chamber of Commerce, President of Everglades Wonder Gardens, Board Member of Lions Eye Clinic, Committee Member of the Bonita Springs Film Festival, and Member of Zonta Club of Bonita Springs.
