A HAND-STITCHED MEXICAN BATTLE STANDARD, estimate $2,500-3,500
Reputedly captured by the General Alexander Somervell Expedition at Camargo, Mexico, circa 1842, this battle standard is steeped in history. Depicting the National Coat of Arms, it is a rare representation of Mexico and Texas's volatile past.

MICKEY AND MINNIE MOUSE SERIGRAPH, PETER MAX Each $1,500-$2,500
Peter Max's work is recognizable internationally. His bright colors, abstracted concepts combined with his unique perspective make his works a must have for any collector. While Max's work can be found both in auction and in galleries a public offering of both Minnie and Mickey Mouse is rare. What makes these pieces even more special is that they are both numbered 116 out of 500 in the edition by the artist.

A VARIETY OF TAXIDERMY, estimate ranges $100-150 up to $2,500-3,500
A unique variety of taxidermy lots from the Estate of Henry B. AN 18 KARAT YELLOW GOLD EMERALD AND DIAMOND HEART PENDANT BY ERTE, LIMITED EDITION 20/250, CIRCA 1984
"Mysteries of the Heart" is a very appropriate name for this work of art pendant. Conceived in 1984 in a signed limited edition of 250 pieces by Erte, one of the most successful artists of the Art Deco period. The heart pendant is exquisitely crafted in 18K yellow gold with alternating satin and bright polish finishes, creating depth and movement. The intensely green emerald eyes and the beautifully set diamonds question mark, are a reflection of "veiled" romance that explores our secret emotions. Not only is this pendant a marvelous piece of jewelry to own; it also has a distinguished provenance from the collection of Dr. Lyn Robertson, Houston, Texas.
