"With the CSCMP Annual Event centering on industry developments and knowledge sharing, this is an excellent opportunity for Source One to share our nearshoring expertise."

WILLOW GROVE, PA, September 20, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Next week, spend management experts from Source One Management Services will join other industry thought leaders and supply chain innovators at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' (CSCMP) Annual Conference. Happening September 25th - 28th in Kissimmee, Florida, the three-day event brings together a global community of supply chain experts and influencers for dynamic presentations and networking opportunities.

This year, Source One's Associate Director and Latin America Sourcing pundit, Diego De la Garza, joins the impressive roster of speakers to discuss the challenges and solutions of nearshoring to Mexico. Leveraging experience from dozens of Mexico sourcing initiatives, De la Garza's presentation will take a look at the economic factors driving the nearshoring trend, some of the challenges associated with this rapidly growing supply base, and how companies can set their nearshoring project up for success.

"As leading proponents for sourcing from Mexico, Source One continues to challenge the traditional perception that low-cost country sourcing must mean outsourcing operations to Far East Asia. With the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' Annual Event centering on industry developments and knowledge sharing, this is an excellent opportunity for Source One to share our nearshoring expertise. Over the years we've helped countless organizations partner with suppliers in Latin America and form long lasting relationships. I'm looking forward to helping attendees gain a better understanding of the outside-the-box solutions nearshoring may offer their supply chain," shares De la Garza.

De la Garza, who will also be honored as an Emerging Leader Award Winner during the conference, will be a member of "Fact vs. Fiction - Generational Stereotypes" panel taking place on Monday, September 26th. In addition, attendees interested in learning more about Nearshoring and other supply chain solutions offered by Source One are welcome to stop by booth #118 during the Supply Chain Exchange Exhibition.

September is an exciting month for Source One Management Services. On September 12-14th, Source One's procurement experts attended Synergy 2016 - Corporate United's flagship annual conference, in Atlanta. Corporate United, the nation's largest indirect group purchasing organization, hosted procurement professionals for a two-day event, delivering unique networking sessions and presentations centered on cost reduction opportunities offered through group purchasing organizations. Next month, Source One looks forward to speaking engagements at Next Level Purchasing's Annual Conference in Pittsburgh and ProcureCon Pharma in Philadelphia.
