Spanish Messaging Increases Clinic Revenue

Increase annual 'wellness' visit with Spanish reminders

    SAN ANTONIO, TX, September 29, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- AdTel International, Inc.'s is an interactive patient communication service using two-way text/SMS, voice, and email communications to increase patient and family engagement. Wellness visit reminders are included and so are many other Recare reminder messages to help patients have proper follow-up and better health outcomes. However, until recently the messages and phone calls for patient wellness have been in English.

Jackie Tormos, Lead Customer Support for AdTel, said, "There is a new feature in DoctorConnect that will be of benefit to the Spanish community. This focuses on the patients that have not returned to schedule a follow up medical visit. These type of friendly reminders are known as Recare Messages and are now available in a set customized Spanish communication module, all simply done with a click of a button. You log into your DoctorConnect, click on the top section under 'MESSAGING' select 'RECARE' then there is a neon blue box that reads 'Add New Rule' and in the section 'Send This Message' there is a drop down box to the right that you can toggle between English and Spanish Templates."

All messages can be previewed by users in reports and customized based on treatment code. Messages can include medical instructions, physician's name, clinic location, and request to call office for follow-up in English and Spanish. Traditionally, the Hispanic market has not taken advantage of the annual wellness benefits and the health benefits that annual examines can bring. Spanish being available in all voice, text, and email is a great benefit for the clinics that serve the Hispanic market.
