Dr. Judith Keck Recognized for Professional Efforts as an Air Force Career Civil Servant

After retiring from her work on Air Force bases, Dr. Keck decided to establish her own business



    SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Judith Keck has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. In her newest role, Dr. Keck pursues her hobby as CEO of Thread Bear Monograms in San Antonio. Texas. Prior to her current pursuits, she held numerous government positions. She acted as a Program Manager, Chief of Acquisition Management, Instructor for the Air Force Institute of Technology, Project Manager for Artificial Intelligence and as a Contracting Officer, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, for Aeronautical Systems Division. She was the first director of the Federal Women's Program at George Air Force Base, CA.

She has had an invaluable career of travel and opportunities. She has been stationed at Nellis AFB, Bitburg AFB, Zweibrucken AFB and Ramstein AFB, all within the Republic of Germany. Her other in-country jobs have been at Malmstrom AFB, MT, Davis Monthan AFB, AZ, Grand Forks AFB, ND, Edwards, Boron and Beale Air Force Bases in California, and Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio. She also worked for the Army Corps of Engineers in Great Falls, MT acquiring land for Minuteman Missile sites. Her most unusual job was that of being employed at the Nevada Test Site during the Above-Ground Atomic Bomb Testing.

Dr. Keck retired from Air Force Civil Service and maintained her membership in numerous organizations to keep abreast of the newest business and technological activities. Dr. Keck has been honored with being included in Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Woman. She is the recipient of the Presidential Medal for Outstanding Federal Civil Service.

Dr. Keck's pursuit of education set her on the right track for a successful career. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Park University in 1983, with a Master of Arts in Business from Central Michigan University less than two years later and a Ph.D. in Management from Pacific Western University. Dr. Keck is now focused on operating her small business, and enjoying various charitable pursuits.
