A member in good standing, Ms. Swift parlays 37 years' experience into her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership abilities, and the credentials she has provided in association with her Worldwide Branding membership.

About Mary M. Swift:

Ms. Swift initially worked as a medical technologist in clinical laboratory testing in the areas of hematology, coagulation, immunology, and serology. Her responsibilities included specialized procedures for bone marrow slide preparation, specialized diagnostic staining and evaluation of bone marrow preparations for oncology diagnostics. She subsequently moved into in-vivo testing and diagnostics, working with human cell culture and viral testing which included monoclonal and immunofluorescent procedures for viral identification.

Following the completion of a Master of Science degree in health care administration in 1997, Mary Swift followed the advice of a colleague and mentor and began a career in manufacturing. This was during a time when it was unconventional to find a woman in a leadership role in manufacturing. She was known to take on the most complex and difficult assignments in order to meet the needs of her customers and patients.

After 15 years in manufacturing, Ms. Swift transitioned into the medical device industry in the field of Regulatory Affairs. As the Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at the medical device company, Terumo Cardiovascular Systems, Mary Swift oversees the management of recalls and market withdrawals, handles compliance-related issues, and provides oversight for international product registrations. She has also served as an industry speaker on recall process at national meetings.

A certified medical technologist and quality manager, Ms. Swift has received additional training in project management, six sigma and radiation safety. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS). She is looking forward to being featured in Pro-Files Magazine.

Worldwide Branding has added Mary Swift to their distinguished Registry of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are endorsed and promoted as leaders in their professional fields.
