Lynn Sgouros of Talent Assessment and Development to Speak at Upcoming Business Conference

Speaking points will revolve around current issues in organizational development.



    ST. LOUIS, MO, February 12, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynn Sgouros, Chief Development Officer and Human Resources Business Partner at Talent Assessment and Development (TAD), will be speaking at the Human Resource Law from A to Z seminar. This National Business Institute (NBI) sponsored conference will take place on Tues., February 14 and Wed., February 15 at the Holiday Inn St. Louis-Airport, located at 4505 Woodson Road.

Sgouros will be presenting on the second day of the conference from 9 to 10 a.m. Her presentation, "Current Issues in Organizational Development," will highlight prevalent issues that every human resource professional faces. These topics include learning from those who do learning for a living, measuring the effectiveness of a company's hiring program with big data, and the consequences of failing to use performance evaluations.

"We believe these topics are relevant to the future of the industry," said Sgouros. "Our goal is to give young, up-and-coming human resource professionals a preview of what the coming years hold."

Sgouros has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational development. After working in large St. Louis law firms for more than 10 years, her passion for organizational development and performance management led her to become a consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has earned an MBA and a Master of Arts degree from Webster University. Sgouros is also a senior certified professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society for Human Resource Management and a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute.
