The Ghetto Nerd Signs Publishing Deal With Over the Edge Books

The Ghetto Nerd signs a publishing deal to release his new three book series.

NEW YORK, NY, March 03, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "Therians: The Awakening" is a sure thriller. The three book series soon to be released by California based publishing company, Over the Edge Books, is an alternative publishing company that publishes stories and art that may be overlooked by traditional publishers. The new release is a graphic novel that gives readers insight into the covert, underground and mystical world of therianthropy. A prolific story that chronicles the plight of a particular race of therians as they are trafficked and transported all over the world across the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. "Therians: The Awakening" is a realistic and riveting sci-fi fantasy that will keep its readers enthralled from the very first page. Providing more than pictures but compelling text, this novel definitely has the strength to one day develop into a motion picture film.

The author reveals that he has always had an obsession with werewolves, shapeshifters and things that go bump in the night since childhood. "Werewolves and vampires were never scary to me but intriguing," says B. Van Randall (aka rap artist The Ghetto Nerd). "Those who read will begin to change. Therians is more than a story about werewolves," says Randall. "It is a story of gnosis and knowing one's self". Graduating from Wayne State University with a B.A. in English, writing became an outlet for Randall - a way to express himself and avoid youthful pitfalls. "Not to be too creepy but strange things happened as I wrote Therians: The Awakening," says Randall. "I'll talk more about that later." He closes with a knowing smile.
