Berger Rental Communities Raising $50,000 for CHOP after Launching New Volunteer Initiative

Berger Rental Communities (Wayne, PA) has launched a new initiative, BRC Cares, which provides team members, residents, and partners with the ability to contribute and participate in philanthropic causes throughout their local communities.

There's no better way to build community spirit than to volunteer our time and energy in service to others.

WAYNE, PA, June 06, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Berger Rental Communities, a Wayne, PA based property management company historically focused on organizational culture has proudly implemented a new program, BRC Cares. This comprehensive charitable program makes giving back easy, and provides team members with an opportunity to donate with a generous employer match. In 2017, every team member was provided an additional benefit to encourage volunteerism. The Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program allows team members to take paid time off to make a difference for a cause they are passionate about. This year Berger has aligned with organizations such as The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), The Friends Hospital, Delaware Apartment Angels, and The Philadelphia Apartment Association's Helping Hands Committee.

The BRC Cares website (www.rentberger.com/BRCcares) provides team members, residents, and partners the ability to contribute and participate in the philanthropic causes that make a difference in their surrounding communities. One of the larger partnerships the organization has formed is with CHOP, in which their mission is to raise $50,000 for this commendable organization and the families it supports. Berger designates a day several times per year in which they donate all application fees they collect to the hospital. They have also committed to making a donation for every resident that moves in to any Berger-owned community, as well as participation in local events such as toy drives and charitable walks.

Berger believes, "There's no better way to build community spirit than to volunteer our time and energy in service to others," according to Dan Berger, President of Berger Rental Communities. This is why Berger is excited to make a difference alongside CHOP and many other charitable organizations.
