Robert Parker Morse Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Morse is ranked as one of the top money managers in the country, having shepherded hundreds of millions of dollars every day for most of the 47 years in which he has served the financial industry. His proudest achievements are becoming corporate executive officer of Morse Asset Management in 2017, after serving as Partner of Evercore and Hambrecht and Quist, and serving as chairman of the Wall Street Fund board from 1984 to 2013.

Mr. Morse started his professional career with a summer internship on Wall Street in 1959 before deciding to attend The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in economics in 1967. From 1967 to 1978, Mr. Morse served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve. After returning from service, he was hired immediately by American Express for various investment positions. Mr. Morse believes his career direction was most influenced by his father who ran the Dime Savings Bank.

While still serving in the reserve, Mr. Morse became vice president of the W.H. Morton Division of American Express in 1970 and the American Express International Securities Operation in Europe. He went on to become senior vice president and partner at Willian G. Campbell & Co. in 1975, serving until 1980 when he became chair and CEO of Morse, Williams, & Co. He served in this capacity until he became chair of the Wall Street Fund board, and went on to manage some of the biggest accounts in his career. In 1989 he lectured at the National Society of Security Analysts on investment theory and wrote the economic section of the "Era of Diffusion," a national security briefing for the first President Bush. He has also served on the board for 860 United Nations Plaza, Inc, eLottery, Dialogic Communications as well as Optix Networks.

On account of his military background, Mr. Morse is a member of the American Defense Preparedness Association and the U.S. Naval Institute. He is a Mayflower descendant and of the 51 survivors, two of them were his relatives. He is a member of the Pilgrims of the United States, and has served as governor emeritus of the Society of Mayflower Descendants, a trustee of the Plymouth Plantation in Massachusetts, as well as a trustee, international council delegate, and finance chairman of the English Speaking Union. Mr. Morse was notably affiliated with the Bermuda Biological Station for Research, the General Service Board in New York, the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Arlington Institute in Washington, D.C. and the Capital Guardian Core Balanced Fund (CGBNX).

Mr. Morse is also credited with starting the Education Outreach program for the Mayflower Society in inner city schools. He was awarded The Wharton Club Award for Excellence, the National Mayflower Award, as well as recognition from the Secretary of Defense. He is included in several volumes of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World. Mr. Morse spends his free time skiing, reading, golfing, playing tennis, and sailing. He belongs to the Union Club, New York Yacht Club, Links Club, the River Club and The Beach Club in Palm Beach.
