US DOT Data Shows 25,000 Killed in Marijuana Fatal Crashes with 8,000 Innocent Victims in Last 10 Years (2006-15). Thousands More Were Probably Killed Since Less Than 40% of Fatal Drivers Were Tested

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 02, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marijuana is now the No.1 killer drug involved in fatal crashes, 72% higher than narcotics (38% vs. 22%). Further it is a daytime killer with 42% of fatalities 7am to 7pm vs. DUI alcohol with 25% during the same time.

Hospital & emergency room data on marijuana deaths and injuries not traffic related is not available nationally but adds to the staggering toll of traffic deaths and injuries.
