Marquis Who's Who Celebrates Paul Pearce, PhD, for Professional Excellence

Dr. Pearce is celebrated for his career success as a laboratory director and consultant in the field of microbiology and pathology



    CONROE, TX, November 30, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul Pearce, PhD, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Pearce has served Nova Biologicals as president and clinical laboratory director since 1993. He previously served as the director of the environmental laboratory at the Wichita County Health Department, as a laboratory instructor at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, as a specialist in microbiology at the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and as an assistant professor of pathology at the Baylor College of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Pearce provided his research expertise as a mold assessment consultant with the Texas Department of Health Services and as an academic advisor at Conroe Independent School District.

Dr. Pearce obtained a PhD from the University of North Texas in 1973, a Master of Science from the University of Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University. He was certified to practice as a testing and quality control solutions provider by the International Trade Council in 2015. He also acts as an international trainer in water quality and as a board member of Living Water International. In addition, Dr. Pearce was employed as president of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association of the Greater Houston Chapter. Furthermore, he served his community as a board member of the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, and he was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to act as a member of the Texas' Critical Infrastructure and Key Resource Protection Council.

Dr. Pearce maintained and directed more than six laboratories that generated technical excellence, customer satisfaction, high profitability, and adaptability to the changing demands of the healthcare system. He always had an interest in microbiology and clinical pathology; therefore, he was determined to pursue a career in the field. He now attributes his success to his love and respect for his work. Dr. Pearce was honored for his contributions to his industry with an Exceptional Service in the Public Interest Award by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Outside of his career in the public service industry, Dr. Pearce enjoys playing racquetball and long-distance biking. He has won numerous awards as a competitive racquetball player, including a gold medal from the United States Racquetball Association Championships, a gold medal in from the United States Senior Olympics and National Senior Games Association, a gold medal from the United States Open Racquetball Championships, and a gold medal from the Texas Racquetball Championships.
