HEAVENDROPt Hosts Angels of The Sky, An Event to Honor U.S. Paratroopers and Support Individuals with Disabilities

Emceed by Courtney Robinson, evening anchor from WTSP Channel 10 News, the event will feature a silent auction, guest performances, photo ops, and the chance to meet U.S. Paratroopers.

CLEARWATER, FL, February 02, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For its second year, HEAVENDROPt will honor the Paratroopers of the United States armed forces through its Angels of the Sky event on March 2, 2018. These brave men and women are the inspiration behind HEAVENDROPt, a social enterprise of Evergreen Life Services. HEAVENDROPt strives to share their legacy by employing people with disabilities to turn retired military parachutes - the same parachutes once used by these heroes - into products.

The Angels of the Sky keynote speaker is Jill Stephenson, Mother of Army Ranger Ben Kopp whose story is told in the book Heart of a Ranger by Bill Lunn. Other highlights will include the presenting of the colors by the Pinellas County Veterans Council Honor Guard, the Portico choir and a patriotic performance by Navy Veteran, Sailor Jerri.

"Angels of the Sky is such a special event because it honors and raises awareness for two underserved populations - veterans and individuals with developmental disabilities." CEO of Evergreen Life Services, Sue Buchholtz, said. "HEAVENDROPt gives people the chance to recognize the heroes who have served our country bravely and employ individuals with disabilities"
