An expert in the field of alternative energy, Dr. Lee currently serves as a research specialist in the environmental and plant research division at the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology. His areas of expertise include the analysis of printed-circuit heat exchangers, the cooling channels of nuclear reactors, and hybrid renewable energy power plants.

Dr. Lee began his career as a student at Inha University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, going to complete a Master of Science in mechanical engineering. In 2014, he earned a PhD in mechanical engineering.

As a respected voice in the industry, Dr. Lee is affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Korean Society for Fluid Machinery and the Society of Air Conditioning as well as the Refrigerating Engineers of Korea. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions, and Inha University gave him a Best Paper Award in 2014. Looking toward the future, Dr. Lee intends to continue his research with the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology.

Dr. Lee was born in Incheon, Korea, the son of Young-Geun Lee and his wife, Hee-Ju Ji, the brother of Sang-Hyeon Lee.
