Prior to establishing Jamison Financial Group, Ms. Jamison was a Senior Vice President of investments at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in New York (1987 - 2005) and an Account Vice President at Paine Webber (now UBS, 1981 - 1987). During her time at Morgan Stanley, she managed over $100 million in assets for her clients. Perhaps more important, she co-founded Morgan Stanley's Women's Business Exchange to help support women advisors at the firm throughout the country. Ms. Jamison was a member of the President's Club while at Morgan Stanley, the Pinnacle Club when affiliated with Investors Capital Corp and now the Chairman's Circle of Voya Financial Advisors.
Besides attending to business, Ms. Jamison has served in numerous volunteer positions. These included the Curriculum Committee and an instructor for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Asheville; chair of the Investors Capital Advisory Council; member of the fundraising committees for both the Gene Michael Scholarship and the Tomorrow's Children Funds in N.J.; and co-chair of the Communications Committee for the Friends Institute of Noetic Sciences in New York.
Ms. Jamison has belonged to several professional organizations, including the Society of Women Accountants, the Advertising Women of New York and the Direct Investment Advisory Board. She was named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Manhattan Magazine. She has been cited in approximately 40 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World. She holds a Bachelor of Science in management, magna cum laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University (1986) and later completed postgraduate work at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1999).
Ms. Jamison loves spending down time with Richard Jamison, her husband since 1981. Down time includes hiking, bicycling, yoga, Pilates and, when the opportunity presents itself, snorkeling. She also loves creative cooking, new technology and nature photography.
