Gratwick Founder Returns Home In Search Of A Local Creative Project To Add To Their WeFunder Slate

In the years since Hulbert shot The Perfect House in Cheektowaga he has been in Los Angeles building the foundation for a 21st century studio

At Gratwick, ownership is an experience, and every investor will be able to assist with: selecting what films are produced, who gets cast and what charities each project will support.

BUFFALO, NY, October 23, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Buffalo native Kris Hulbert founded Gratwick Productions to provide a transparent, audience owned infrastructure for the modern artist. Inspired by the difficult and unethical experiences Hulbert faced dealing with the Hollywood machine after he returned to LA with his first film, he sought to create a business model that used emerging technologies to serve the creators in an ethical manner rather than prey upon their creative nature. That model relies on the audience holding ownership and influence over the studio rather than a select few wealthy individuals with their own agenda. In the Spring (2019) Gratwick will launch a WeFunder campaign to raise up to $1 million in their first round of funding. Anyone can invest as little as $100 in the company.

At Gratwick, ownership is an experience, and every investor will be able to assist with: selecting what films are produced, who gets cast and what charities each project will support. Investors will also receive livestream access to auditions, meetings and production sets as well as a lifetime access to everything Gratwick producers.

Gratwick intends to use the $1 million dollars to finance, market and distribute its first slate of creative projects. As part of Hulberts commitment to WNY he wants one of those projects to come from a local creator. Hulbert and his partner Andrea Vahl will be in town from this Wednesday to the following Tuesday to meet with potential creators and review available real estate for a future studio location in Western New York.

On Monday October 29th, Kris Hulbert and Andrea Vahl will be tailgating in Buffalo with friends and family before the Monday Night game at the corner of Abbott Rd and Sheldon. They welcome any interested creators or perspective supporters who are also at the game to stop by and say Hi. There will be free pop, water and snacks for anyone that follows Gratwick Productions on social media.
