Certapet.com Proposes Union with All Airlines to Improve ESA Travel Process

By creating ESA travel fact books and educational materials for all airlines, CertaPet aims to further legitimize emotional support animals and bridge gap between ESA owners and air carriers.

We hope to collaborate with airlines in the future and will be reaching out with educational materials for both clients and airlines.

LEAGUE CITY, TX, November 08, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CertaPet.com aims to collaborate with airlines in order to establish a clear understanding of the Certapet process of providing emotional support animal (ESA) recommendation letter. CertaPet works to connect clients with qualified Licensed Mental Health Professionals who, after a thorough evaluation, write an ESA recommendation letter if required as part of treatment.

With the increase of travelers with emotional support animals, CertaPet understands the concern regarding the legitimacy of ESA letters.

"We at CertaPet are always striving to support airline's efforts to further legitimize emotional support animals. CertaPet envisions a future where we have created a simple process for both the passenger and the airline to verify that the assessment was administered by a licensed and trained clinician and that familiarity and continuity of care are properly established in order for a letter to be prescribed," expressed Clinical Manager, Prairie Conlon.

Through this medium, CertaPet extends an invitation to airlines. "We hope to collaborate with airlines in the future and will be reaching out with educational materials for both clients and airlines. We are always open to feedback as we continue to move in the direction of clear-cut regulations for emotional support animals. We look forward to the prospect of further discussions."

The company's objective is to help both the traveling guest and airlines, to ensure that under the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), both are being compliant.

CertaPet connects people who believe they are in need of an Emotional Support Animal with a Licensed Mental Health Professional. After an evaluation, and if the mental health professional deems it necessary, the patient receives an ESA recommendation letter, as well as, a treatment plan.
