Lloyd Freeberg, Esq., Named a Lifetime Member of Cambridge Who's Who
Press Release April 6, 2008
Freeberg focuses his energies on defending clients with drug and alcohol problems and resolving criminal cases by helping them achieve sobriety.

/24-7PressRelease/ - Fullerton, CA, April 6, 2008, Lloyd L. Freeberg, Attorney for Chapman Law Building, will be included as a lifetime member in the 2008-2009 edition of the Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in legal services.

Mr. Freeberg entered the legal profession 35 years ago, spurred on by a fascination with law and a desire to help people. He focuses his energies on defending clients with drug and alcohol problems and resolving criminal cases by helping them achieve sobriety. An advocate for rehabilitation law, he represents clients to get them out of the system instead of simply getting them off a case, even having his reformed clients mentor his new ones in their fight to become sober. He believes that the most important issue affecting his work is the general public's lack of understanding of what makes people commit crimes and the resources available to help them. "Prison is for people we are afraid of," he says. "Not for people we are disappointed in."

A member of the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association, Mr. Freeberg obtained his JD from Western State University in 1973. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a public education consultant for the Applied Technology Center for Education, and dabbled in professional sports as a hockey player and a golfer. He currently works for the National Hockey League as a goal judge. Also an author, he wrote a book entitled 'In the Bin,' which was published by the Chicago Triumph Publishing Company. Mr. Freeberg often speaks with the media on his subjects of expertise, namely: criminal defense, hockey and golf. He may be reached through email at [email protected].
