William Edward Blouch is renowned for his success in developing testing methods which led to his students becoming the most successful in the nation.

With nearly 45 years of professional experience, Dr. Blouch has been a professor of accounting at Loyola University Maryland since 1984, also serving as chair of the accounting department from 1989 to 1994. Prior to obtaining these roles, he was an assistant professor of accounting with Shippensburg University from 1975 to 1984. Earlier in his career, Dr. Blouch was a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen & Company from 1974 to 1975.

Dr. Blouch began his career as a student at Shippensburg University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1973. He continued his education with the school, completing a Master of Business Administration in 1974. After obtaining some experience in the field, he returned to his studies at Kent State University, earning a Doctor of Business Administration in 1987.

A respected voice in the field, Dr. Blouch has been affiliated with a number of organizations in his community. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, the Institute of Management Accountants, Beta Alpha Psi, and Beta Gamma Sigma. A contributor of articles to professional journals, he was a co-author of the "Quality Management Handbook."

Dr. Blouch credits much of his success to his mentors, including Thomas Ulrich and Robert Margenthaler at Loyola University Maryland. He is renowned for his success in developing testing methods which led to his students becoming the most successful in the nation. Dr. Blouch has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in the East.
