Dentist Gives Back in Scripps Ranch

    SAN DIEGO, CA, February 23, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Ramin Goshtasbi announced that his office would be collecting coats and blankets for donation to the homeless. Donations can be dropped off through February 15, 2019. Patients can bring donations with them to appointments, but Oasis Dental Arts is also accepting donations from nonpatients. When the drive is complete, the donations will be taken to Father Joe's Villages.

Established in 1950 to help San Diegans experiencing homelessness and poverty, Father Joe's Villages offers a "one-stop shop" for people needing help. The charity can help people find housing, furnishings, job training, and employment. Every night, the charity's housing gives shelter to over 2000 people. The charity is well-respected in part because of its visible accomplishments, but also because it's one of the most efficient charities: 83% of the funds given to the charity support programs that help people in need.

"I've lived in San Diego almost all my life," said Dr. Goshtasbi, "and I know the level of need in our community. I sometimes donate my dental skills, but this time of year, I know there is a specific need. We can't meet that need on our own. We're asking for your help."
