/24-7PressRelease/ - Jennings, LA, April 9, 2008, Colonel Colin F. Fake Sr., part-time theater manager for the City of Jennings, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in theater management.

A 45-year veteran of theater and set design, Mr. Fake specializes in directing stage plays and television programs, and is now responsible for managing Jennings' city theater, overseeing building maintenance, scheduling, and supervising staff and volunteers. He assumed his current position upon his retirement from the field of education, having worked in theater even during his stints as a professor and in the United States Air Force. Throughout his 30-year career in education, he has worked as an education administrator, as well as a middle school teacher, a professor of Drafting and Design Technology at a community college in southwestern Louisiana, and an adjunct professor at McNeese State University. He managed to distinguish himself while in the Air Force also, moving up in the Air Force Auxiliary with rank of Colonel and as a Southwest Region Commander for the states of Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona and Arkansas, in what he considers to be the highlight of his long career. Now making his contribution as a part-time theater manager for the city of Jennings, he aspires to continue expanding and promoting the theater, raising attendance and, most importantly, seeking grants to fund theater improvement.

Mr. Fake graduated from McNeese State University, where he obtained both his Master of Education in 1989 and Bachelor's Degree in Radio and Television Production in 1962. In addition to the Air Force Auxiliary, he is a member of the Air Force Association, Friends of the Zigler Museum and the Jennings American Legion Hospital, and is the first man to be elected president of the Hospital Auxiliary. He is available to speak with the media on the subjects of set design, curriculum and instruction for college supervising instructors, and coordinating with various departments on state-approved curriculum. He may be contacted through email at [email protected].
