    PERKASIE, PA, March 06, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joan Ferry has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As a self-employed cash flow consultant, Joan Ferry's career has taken many turns, from childhood education, to real estate, to editing and finally funding solutions.

Ms. Ferry started her journey with a strong education. She attended the Lansdale School of Business and Lehigh University, and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1964. In 1967, she graduated from Temple University with an EdM. She would later pursue postgraduate coursework at the University of Hawaii, the University of Pittsburgh and Villanova University.

At the start of her career, Ms. Ferry served as the chair of the child study team at Perkansie Elementary School. She left education in 1981 to become a counselor for a real estate partnership in Perkasie, New Jersey. In 2000, she worked as an editor for the Princeton Publishing Group until 2003, when she established Capital Funding Solutions. By 2004, she had become self-employed as a cash flow consultant. Aside from these main roles, she worked as a tutor in mathematics at St. Lawrence University and a director of first aid and tennis at Harry Hopman International Tennis Camp. She also served as a supervisory teacher at East Stroudsburg University.

Ms. Ferry is affiliated with a number of professional organizations, including the American Association of University Women, the National Education Association, the National Association of Female Executives, the Humane Society of the United States and the Pennsylvania State Education Association.

In recognition of her hard work and dedication, Ms. Ferry received a grant from the National Science Foundation in 1972, and another grant from the Philanthropic Education Organization in 1982. She also received the Judith Netzky Memorial Fellowship Award from B'nai B'rith, Philadelphia in 1979.

A prolific author, Ms. Ferry has documented her skills in a number of informative books. These include "Angola: A Nation in Ferment," published in 1963, "Learning Styles of Elementary School Children," also published in 1963, "Elementary Social Studies as a Learning System," published in 1976, and "Studies in the Care of the Chronically Ill and Disabled," published in 1978.
