Michael Cowen earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. He is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin School of Law where he graduated in 1995 with high honors and earned the top score on the Texas Bar Exam. Mr. Cowen is licensed to practice in New York, New Mexico and Texas. He has been involved in over 100 trials and is a member of TTLA (Board of Directors; CLE Committee), San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, AIEG (Board of Directors; Trucking Committee), and AAJ (AAJ Board Member and TLG Co-Chair for Membership). He has also authored "Building Towers of Evidence Captured by Cellphones" and "Secrets to Winning 8-figure Injury Cases." And he is the host of the popular legal podcast, Trial Lawyer Nation, which has listeners in all 50 states and over 40 countries.
Approximately 3% of American lawyers are board certified, and Mr. Cowen is a member of a very select group who have taken the time to prove competence in their specialty area and earn board certification, becoming the very first to be Trucking Accident Law board certified in Texas.
