HAYWARD, CA, March 12, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Annabelle Candy Company Inc. is pleased to announce its recent hire of Debby Soderberg, who will join the Annabelle's Sales team as Regional Sales Manager. Soderberg will manage the retail business development aspect of sales and assist in the new distribution and merchandising goals of Annabelle Candy Company. Soderberg's role as Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for current and potential customers in the Pacific Northwest and at retail level nationwide. Her pivotal role will help serve as a front-line representative and sales support to the existing Annabelle Candy Sales team. Soderberg's proven background in Retail Merchandising, Business Development, Project Manager, and overall senior level of experience will help ensure Annabelle Candy continues to grow, allowing the company to further expand its national distribution.
Soderberg comes with over 20 years of experience in Sales and Marketing. Most recently Soderberg worked as an Account Executive for Kahler-Senders Group brokerage, representing candy and snacks.
In addition to her brokerage experience, Soderberg has a strong leadership and customer development background. She has successfully worked in all aspects of the business, from owning a convenience store to working with major retail corporations, such as Albertson's.

Annabelle Candy Co., Inc. is a third-generation family business founded 69 years ago in San Francisco, CA. The company was founded by Sam Altshuler, who arrived in the United States in 1917. He learned the art of candy making and after struggling for years finally achieved success with his Rocky Road candy bar. He named his business the "Annabelle Candy Company" after his daughter, Annabelle, who in 1971 took control of the company.
In 1972 the company acquired the Golden Nugget Company makers of Big Hunk and Look candy bars and in 1978 the company acquired the Cardinet Company makers of U-No and Abba Zaba candy bars. The Rocky Road in addition to the Big Hunk, Look, U-No and Abba Zaba candy bars are currently manufactured in their Hayward, CA factory and headquarters.
Annabelle Candy Company, Inc. continues to grow. Annabelle's son, Gary Gogol, manages the day-to-day operations of the company as CEO alongside Victor Moreno, President of Annabelle Candy Co.
