"Share Happiness" is the theme for this year's celebration says Edwin Edebiri, the Chief Happiness Officer.

SACRAMENTO, CA, March 17, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- March 20th is set aside to remind everyone that happiness is a fundamental goal. The United Nations calls upon all countries to come up with ways that could take the well-being of people into a newer height. By means of designating a special happiness day, the United Nations aims to focus the world's attention to the idea that there should be a balanced and equitable economic growth for everyone. By observing happiness, it opens door for positive and sustainable development. Additionally, environmental and social well-being must be accompanied by global happiness.

This free event will go from 11 am to 12 noon at the main entrance to the center. Everyone is welcome to attend, you can expect different tips to promote and sustain happiness at work, in your home and in the entire community.

Come fill your hearts with laughter and joy as we all celebrate the International Day of Happiness with the Happy Neighborhood Project. Make it a day of renewed happiness with a new perception of a happier life ahead.

The Happy Neighborhood Project is a registry for Happy Businesses. Our goal is to humanize the review and feedback systems.

By pulling the focus away from shame-based review systems, the overall energy between a business and consumer can step back from adversarial. Our goal is to humanize the review and feedback systems such that they are a tool for improvement instead of knee-jerk public-shaming.

For businesses, in addition to being listed in our directory, we will conduct training that improves the happiness level of the entire company. Consumers tend to be happier with businesses that have happy employees and a happy environment. We believe that a focus on happiness reaps major benefits to customer service. Consumer feedback will allow us to know if a business needs additional hands-on help as opposed to attempting to negatively affect a business&s bottom line. Our pledge to both businesses and consumers is that their voices will be respected and used to improve interactions and our pledge specifically to consumers is that we will make sure businesses are held to a certain standard.

We are dedicated to both the concepts of entrepreneurship and happiness. We have heard from too many consumers and businesses that the status quo is unfulfilling and counter-intuitive. We wish to provide a better option, we wish to provide change.

We strive to incorporate happiness in the cultures of the businesses that consumers patronize.
