InventionShare's Portfolio Company Circuit Seed Announces Award of U.S. Patents for Its Core Technologies that Refresh, Replace, Amplify and Accelerate 5G Solutions

19th Annual LES Silicon Valley Chapter Conference "5G and IP - Are You Ready?" – 17 April 2019

OTTAWA, ON, April 17, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- InventionShare's Client Circuit Seed is pleased to announce that it has received a series of broad US patents for its breakthrough "analog in digital" semiconductor design platform. Significantly, these patents were summarily granted by different patent examiners -- without citing any relevant prior art.

LOW NOISE TRANS-IMPEDANCE AMPLIFIERS BASED ON COMPLEMENTARY CURRENT FIELD-EFFECT TRANSISTOR DEVICES
US Patent Application S.N. 15/748,813; Notice of Allowance - March 21, 2019

The complementary current injection field effect transistor (CiFET) is a fundamentally new type of semiconductor device that enables a hardware design platform for processing analog signals using 100% digital components in silicon, i.e. CMOS. The CiFET allows one to build any analog component including amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, modulators, LNAs filters, Spectrally-Pure Quadrature PLL, timing devices, etc. in purely digital IC process nodes including deep submicron and FinFETs. For 5G, the CiFET technology supports a wide bandwidth _40Ghz and RF filtering features without the need for ceramics (BAW/ FBAR). Power consumption is a fraction of analog devices increasing battery life and naturally supporting PoE and IoT devices. This also leads to a significant reduction, and even elimination, of metal heat sinks -further reducing size, weight and cost. The circuits are fast, compact, simple, scalable, require no changes to manufacturing equipment or processes, and are easy to work with for faster and less-skilled design time and less overall cost.

"Circuit Seed's CiFET represents a truly transformative technology that shatters the "Analog Wall" which for many years has limited the reduction in size as well as the performance of digital circuits that interact with the external physical world, which is entirely analog," says Ron Laurie, Chairman of InventionShare. "This technology is supported by an emerging high-quality corporate-grade international patent portfolio, thus paving the way for partners to execute on adoption with very compelling profit margins while providing a long window of sustained competitive advantage and product innovation to their OEM customers."

In attendance from InventionShare is our Chairman and IP & M&A Strategist Ron Laurie, shareholder and advisor Irving Rappaport, and Eran Dor, Executive Advisor - RF Specialist.

About Circuit Seed

Circuit Seed enables a new portable family of building block circuit designs for processing low power analog signals in an all-digital domain. It is based on a new Complementary Current Field-Effect Transistor (the CiFET) with a channel fusion for fully integrating analog functionality with unique properties while eliminating separate analog chips and external components on the circuit board. Noise is markedly reduced, and sensitivities are considerably increased. The CiFET designs use 100% digital transistor channels to overcome many traditional analog restrictions – including parametric variations and temperature sensitivities. The designs provide an ultra-linear response over an extended dynamic range and the capability of operating at low supply voltages below 800mV with low power consumption at any threshold voltage.

About InventionShare

InventionShare functions as a perpetual and exclusive 'Breakthrough Invention Fund' that creates and develops 'Invention Companies' rather than high risk 'Operating Companies'. This approach dramatically accelerates the adoption of breakthrough technologies by augmenting the innovation pipeline of large global companies – for extraordinary financial outcomes and high social impact. We do this by attracting and representing credible senior inventors with a track record, through our 'inventor friendly' success-based model, and we support, amplify, protect and validate their seminal inventions with non-dilutive financial capital – in stark contrast to operating companies. The dramatic financial and social leverage we achieve is through our deep and distinct intellectual and relationship capital, industry and IP expertise, intelligence tools, process, diligence and discipline.
