SeamlessDocs Hires Chief Accessibility Advisor to Advance its Accessibility Program

SeamlessDocs hires Chief Accessibility Advisor, formalizing the company's commitment to accessibility.

NEW YORK, NY, April 23, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SeamlessDocs announced today that it has hired Thomas Logan as its first-ever Chief Accessibility Advisor, a position dedicated to ensuring that the company's physical, digital, and employment practices are accessible for individuals with disabilities. Logan brings to the team over 15 years of experience assisting in developing accessible technologies, and he will play a key role in establishing SeamlessDocs as a thought leader in government accessibility.

Prior to SeamlessDocs, Logan worked on projects for over ten government agencies and over one hundred private organizations. In 2012, Logan founded the company Equal Entry, which provides expert technical accessibility consulting. Equal Entry focuses on actionable recommendations from audits, as well as producing accessibility trainings and materials. Logan will leverage his technical expertise to enforce the accessibility compliance of SeamlessDocs software, while leading accessibility trainings for SeamlessDocs employees and customers.

"SeamlessDocs stands out as the first startup company I've worked with that truly is making accessibility a front and center commitment," Logan comments. "I am thrilled to be working in a dynamic environment with a team that I am confident will execute great things."

Logan's addition to the SeamlessDocs team marks the latest in a series of accessibility strides. Over the past year, SeamlessDocs rolled out a number of product updates that enable a more accessible government experience, including the ability for staff and citizens to request reasonable accommodations and report accessibility issues through screen reader-friendly web forms. SeamlessDocs also ramped up content efforts around accessibility and is running internal accessibility trainings for staff on an ongoing basis. "Accessibility has always been at the heart of SeamlessDocs' mission to Make Government Beautiful," remarks Jonathon Ende, CEO and co-founder of SeamlessDocs. "And Thomas was the missing piece that will bring our accessibility program to the next level. His expertise will ensure not only that our software powers accessible online services for hundreds of governments across the nation, but that SeamlessDocs rolls out internal policies and employment practices that promote inclusivity."
