Prior to obtaining this role, he spent time as an associate professor at the University of Kentucky in Lexington from 1973 to 1985. Earlier in his career, Dr. Yeh worked as an assistant professor with the university from 1967 to 1973.
Dr. Yeh began his career as a student at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1956. He continued his studies with a Master of Science from the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan in 1961 and an additional Master of Science from the University of New Brunswick in Canada in 1963. Concluding his studies at Ohio State University, Dr. Yeh obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in 1967.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Dr. Yeh has been an active leader in his community. A member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Sigma Xi, and he is the inventor of the deconvolution control and a regular contributor of articles to professional journals. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions, including with a General Foulois Award from the United States Air Force Flight Dynamics Laboratory. Dr. Yeh has previously been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in the Midwest.
