Beverly Wadsworth Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Now retired, Ms. Wadsworth accrued nearly three decades of experience in the field of nursing. Her most recent professional post was that of nursing supervisor for Colonial House from 1984 to 1985. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable expertise as the director of nursing for the Justice Resource Institute in Framingham, Massachusetts, from 1982 to 1984 and a nurse anesthetist for Newton-Wellsley Hospital in both Lower Falls, Massachusetts, and Cleveland, Ohio.

Ms. Wadsworth holds a diploma from Lock Haven Hospital School of Nursing and a certification in anesthesiology from Williamsport Hospital School. She is a certified nurse administrator, nurse practitioner, and Red Cross nurse. For her professional efforts, she was presented with an award from the American Legion and Jaycee Awards. In order to remain current with trends in the nursing field, she maintains affiliation with the Massachusetts and American Associations of Nurse Administrators.

Civically, Ms. Wadsworth has been active with the Girl Scouts, acting as a troop leader from 1968 to 1973. Born in Flemington, Pennsylvania, she was married to her late husband, Earl C. Wadsworth, for 52 years. The couple share two children, Kerry Lee Bergeron (David) and Jay C. Wadsworth. Now enjoying retirement, Ms. Wadsworth spends much of her time reading, knitting and crocheting, gardening, and participating in outdoor activities. Most importantly, she is the "Neighborhood Nurse."
