BROOKLYN, NY, June 14, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Toots is one of the true architects of reggae –so much so that "Do the Reggay," a 1968 single by Toots and his group, the Maytals, is credited with giving the genre its name. Classic songs written and recorded by Toots and the Maytals have been covered by the likes of the Clash and the Specials, and the group was featured in reggae's greatest breakthrough event –"The Harder They Come," the 1972 film that became an international sensation. The all-star guests on TRUE LOVE range from legends like Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, and Bonnie Raitt to younger stars including No Doubt, the Roots, and Phish's Trey Anastasio. The caliber of these collaborators reveals the impact that Toots has had on several generations of rockers and rappers, while appearances from reggae icons Bunny Wailer and Marcia Griffiths show the respect granted to the man who might be the music's greatest living vocalist. At the heart of it all is that voice –drenched in soul, rooted in gospel, and still breathtakingly powerful after almost four decades in the spotlight.

Multimedia producer, humanitarian, and music evangelist Selectress Iriela, began her journey into the entertainment business in the nineties on Reggae radio, on 88.9FM WERS Boston. While living in Kingston and inspired by her work in international development, Iriela founded production company and tech platform, Second World. On a mission to diminish the gap between nations of abundance and ones of scarcity, Second World combines the trifecta of multimedia production, musical event curation, such as Culture Fest International, as well as advocating for the empowerment of fairly traded art & fashion, while creating uplifting entertainment. Regularly assembling all-star teams throughout her musical curation career, Iriela has worked on key projects alongside artists such as Lady Starlight, Arsenio Hall, DJ Scratch, Amp Fiddler, Chaka Khan, Little Louie Vega, DJ Spinna, Sly and Robbie, The Wailers, Burning Spear, Yellowman, DJ Kool Herc, Tony Touch, Easy Mo Bee and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest, to name a few. Making regular appearances the world over, she's performed at storied institutions such as: Lincoln Center, CBGBs, Output, Francois K's iconic Deep Space at Cielo, and has appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show, IRIE FM Jamaica, Sway In The Morning on Sirius XM, ScratchVision, and New York Fashion Week Style 360 as an on screen host. With her first feature film, Reggae Revolution, in the works, more music productions being released, combined with ever-constant event curation and performances and future looking tech platforms, Selectress Iriela has become one of the world's most conscious and sought after DJs and shows no signs of slowing as she empowers all through purpose-driven entertainment.

Victory's music is a fusion between Soul music and Folk Music. Whether Victory is performing classics or original compositions, she has a way of tailoring each song with her voice and guitar to fit her unique style. Some people say that Victory is in the lane of Tracy Chapman, Roberta Flack, and Nina Simone. But beyond those three, Victory brings an entirely new youthful element to the music world, an indescribable spiritual depth mixed with her youthful interpretation of sound influencing her artistic expressions. Moreover Victory colors a lot of her musical arrangements with rich jazz chords as she is rooted and grounded in Jazz tradition.
