Business Exec-Turned-Pastor Stuart Fuhlendorf Heading To New York For Nationally Syndicated Radio Show

Littleton resident will be featured on the Eric Metaxas Show, June 21

LITTLETON, CO, June 24, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eric Metaxas, the New York Times best-selling author, speaker, and radio host of the nationally syndicated Eric Metaxas Show, will welcome Littleton's Stuart Fuhlendorf to the studio on June 21 to talk about his new book, Wall Street to the Well: A Journey of Transformation from Fortune to Faith.

Fuhlendorf, an American author, speaker, and pastor, is a former business executive who spent 20 years in the world of high-tech software and systems development before becoming a Christian and dedicating his life to serving God. He's now the Senior Pastor of Redemption Hills Church in Littleton, CO, where he is a tireless advocate for men and women, encouraging and inspiring them in ministry to think more deeply about their lives, and overcome the devastating effects of idol worship, addictions, and sin in a suffering world.

On June 21, Fuhlendorf will join Metaxas at his studio in New York City to discuss Wall Street to the Well, his first book which was released earlier this year, and to reflect on his own experiences in Biblical terms.

"I didn't become a Christian until I was 43 years old, and my world view changed drastically and significantly after that," Fuhlendorf told Conversations Radio Network's Cyrus Webb in a March 22, 2019 interview. "One of the things that's profound in the Christian life is that the things that we think are blessings of the world when we're not Christians—we find out later, often, are driving us to despair."

Fuhlendorf said the material wealth he had for many years could not fill the "vacuum-shaped hole" of despair in his heart. He admits he lived a sinful life, one in which he drank too much and was verbally abusive toward his wife, among other things. His book, he said, is a work of honesty—and a means for him to show others that God's forgiveness is universal to those who come to faith in Him.

"There was an element of healing in [writing the book,]" Fuhlendorf said. "There was also an element of pain. There were times when I was writing the book, I had to take a step back and say, 'I'm going to take a little bit of a break from this for a while.'"

Fuhlendorf will share more about his book and his ministry when he sits down with Metaxas for a one-on-one interview that will be broadcast from Metaxas' studio in the Empire State Building to more than 120 cities around the U.S. through the Salem Radio Network.

Metaxas' popular radio show, which has featured interviews with such notable guests as Kathie Lee Gifford, Gary Sinise, Katie Couric, Bill O'Reilly, and Milo Yiannopoulos, can be accessed by downloading the Eric Metaxas app through iTunes or the Google Play Store.
