An acclaimed attorney, Mr. Langer is currently a partner and the co-chair of the antitrust and consumer protection practice group at Wiggin and Dana LLP, with which he began in 1994. In 1970, Mr. Langer earned a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin and Marshall College. He subsequently attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1973, after which he secured admission to practice law through the U.S. District Court of Connecticut, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Langer retains his professional affiliation with the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law and the Connecticut Bar Association, having served in key leadership capacities with both organizations. From 1990-92, he chaired the National Association of Attorneys General Multi-State Antitrust Task Force, coordinating the states' antitrust enforcement efforts with the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, and with the Federal Trade Commission.

Throughout his career, Mr. Langer has lectured on many hundreds of occasions on antitrust, constitutional law and consumer protection topics, and has authored or co-authored several dozen articles in professional journals. He is also the co-author of the leading treatise on the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act and the Connecticut Antitrust Act.
