Pivot is an alcohol and substance abuse recovery facility located in South Florida's resort community of Singer Island. Pivot was co-founded by Tanya Young Williams and Dr. Jacob Elefant.
As a healthcare professional in the recovery field, Stewart has held executive positions with the Caron Foundation, Acadia Healthcare, Dynamic Life Recovery, Darryl Strawberry Recovery Center and the National Addiction Christian Call Centers. He has worked closely with The AACC, NACSW, Focus on the Family and The Dawson McAllister Program.

According to a report from the National Center for Health Statistics, a part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 70,000 Americans died from a drug overdose in 2017, setting a new record amid an ongoing public health crisis and contributing to the decline in average life expectancy nationwide. Deaths from drug overdose climbed nearly 10 percent from 63,632 in 2016 to 70,237 in the U.S. in 2017.
In addition to his formal degrees, Stewart has completed post-graduate work at the Wharton School, Kellogg School of Business, UCLA School of Business as well as the Fuqua School at Duke University.
