In the course of his duties, he represents clients in a variety of areas, such as class action lawsuits, products liability and commercial litigation. Prior to obtaining his current roles, he garnered a laudable reputation as a partner for Seiger Gfeller Laurie LLP from 2010 until 2013 and of counsel for Herrick Feinstein LLP from 2007 to 2010. Previously, he gained valuable expertise in the field as an attorney with Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP for three years, and began his career as an Associate Independent Counsel for the Office of Independent Counsel in 1998. Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Hurlock has conveyed his knowledge of the field to others as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University School of Law.
Admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, Mr. Hurlock earned a Bachelor of Science in political science and justice from American University in 1988 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the aforementioned university's Washington College of Law ten years later. Upon graduating from law school, he was admitted to practice law through several federal courts, namely the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third, Fourth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York. Mr. Hurlock maintains a close professional affiliation with Taxpayers Against Fraud and contributes his time to the Family Service League on Sexual Assault and Violence Education, the American Red Cross in Northern New Jersey, Sobel & Company's fraud and forensic practices advisory board and the Montclair Board of School Estimate.
