With over a decade of professional excellence to her credit, Ms. Abraham is presently the owner and a family nurse practitioner with A New Creation Women's Clinic in Tucson. She took over from the previous owner, who had intended to close the clinic, in 2016. Feeling that it would be a tragedy to lose such an important resource to the community, Ms. Abraham utilized her philosophy of caring and contact to revitalizing the clinic. Initially the only provider with the practice, she now works alongside several other nurse practitioners. Providing health care to women of all ages, A New Creation Women's Clinic offers services ranging from family planning to cancer screening to aesthetic treatments.
A registered nurse with experience in intensive care, hospice and rehabilitation, Ms. Abraham has cultivated her skills in the areas of men and women's health, hormone and thyroid replacement, gynecological exams and primary care. Inspired by her father, who was a physician, she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse practitioner. Earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing at St. Petersburg College in Florida in 2008, she began her career in the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital. When Ms. Abraham and her husband moved to Arizona, she joined the University of Phoenix and completed a Master of Nursing to become a family nurse practitioner in 2014.
Attributing her success, in part, to the people who have helped her along the way, Ms. Abraham hopes that her peers remember her as someone who always took the time to listen and who really cared and could help them if they needed it. She also feels it is very important that her patients can trust her and can know that they can come to her without being judged. It is incredibly gratifying to her to be able to help them and know that she has made a difference in their lives. To remain abreast of developments in her field, Ms. Abraham has maintained affiliation with several professional organizations. She is an active member of the American Heart Association and the Cellular Medicine Association. Motived to excellence in her work through her Christian faith as well, she holds further membership with Extraordinary Women, an organization that hosts Christen women's events and provides resources to help women in difficult times. For excellence in her career, Ms. Abraham was recognized for Outstanding Health and Wellness by Tucson Local Media in 2018.
Inspired by the mentors she has had over the years, Ms. Abraham feels deeply grateful to her boss at the hospital in Florida and to Sharon Campbell, who was the prior owner and founder of A New Creation Women's Clinic. Her goals for the future include growing the clinic. With only three exam rooms at the present moment, she hopes to acquire a larger building to house the clinic. Ms. Abraham would also like to open up another location someday so that even more women can have access to top of the line health care.
