Griffith with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Griffith celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Mr. Griffith is a celebrated public relations executive and the longtime president of Jefferson Partners, a public relations firm, which he founded in 1994. Beginning his career as a school teacher and non for profit manager, he subsequently accepted a position as an alumni association director at Southern Methodist University before becoming a communications director and staff partner at the Trammell Crow Co. in Dallas. Eventually, Mr. Griffith landed the role of vice president of public affairs and human resources with Epic Healthcare Group, an employee-owned hospital company, in 1988, before ultimately going into business for himself.

Since 2002, Mr. Griffith has also been known for his contributions to the Today Foundation. A non-profit organization, its mission is to develop and support effective educational programs that set children on the road to success. Serving as the organization's president, he was instrumental in the creation of several of their programs, including the Texas Leadership Forum and Safer Dallas Better Dallas, of which Mr. Griffith has been chair since 2008. In addition to his dedication to the Today Foundation, he has also been the director of the Imagination Station Inc., an education technology firm, since 2011.

Passionate about public service, Mr. Griffith has been involved with his community since he was in high school. Previously active on the board of advisers for the State Fair of Texas Association, he has also spent time on the Dallas Park Board, the Dallas Summer Musicals Board, and the Dallas Planning and Zoning Commission, among other local organizations. Additionally, Mr. Griffith was the founding director of the Texas Lyceum Association and the founding chair of the White Rock Lake Conservancy.

Completing his early education at Lakewood Elementary School and Woodrow Wilson High School in East Dallas, Mr. Griffith attended the University of Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1970. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he served as the president of Sigma Phi Epsilon, the chair of the Fraternity Presidents' Council and a member of the Silver Spurs Service Organization. Furthermore, Mr. Griffith is a former foundation president for Rotary Club of Dallas and the national president for Sigma Phi Epsilon and Project America. He is a life trustee of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation as well.

As a testament to his success, Mr. Griffith received a White Rock Partnership First Annual Distinguished Service Award, a Safer Dallas Rotary Club Lifetime Achievement Award, a Southwest Jewish Congress Lifetime Achievement Award and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Order of the Golden Heart. Named to the Woodrow Wilson High School Hall of Fame, he is also a celebrated Marquis listee who has been cited in several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Media and Communication, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
