With more than 25 years of professional experience, Mr. Moran excelled as a spokesperson for the United States Olympic Committee from 1978 to 2003. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he worked as the sports information director at the University of Colorado. Mr. Moran found further success with the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation as a senior media consultant and the director of communications.
Likewise, Mr. Moran flourished as a sports reporter and a photographer for KMTV, an NBC affiliate of Omaha, Nebraska. He attributes his success to his constant curiosity about the business and making friends nationally and internationally in the media. Mr. Moran initially pursued an education with the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning a Bachelor of Science in journalism and broadcasting.
Throughout his career, Mr. Moran has been celebrated for his exemplary contributions to his field. He was notably presented with a General Douglas MacArthur Award from the United States Olympic Committee. Mr. Moran was additionally inducted to the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame, the Omaha Westside High Hall of Fame, and the College Sports Information Directors Hall of Fame.
