Dr. Theresa DeLorenzo aims to continue speaking at conferences as an expert in her field, as well as write and publish her first book.

Inspired by her aunt, a dietitian, and her athletic endeavors in her youth, Dr. DeLorenzo was always intrigued by nutrition and how diet affects how one feels. Since 2010, she has excelled in her private practice as the owner of All About the Babies, where she consults on various medical cases for infants and children, provides education and counseling for children and their parents and focuses on food allergies, Autism, obesity and prematurity. In 2018, she also joined Logan University as the director of the Master of Science in nutrition and human performance program, where she supervises more than 400 students and the courses that they take. Additionally, Dr. DeLorenzo assists faculty at the aforementioned university in course development.
A frequent speaker for the New York State Women Infant and Children's Conference and the Childhood Obesity Conference in Rome, Italy, Dr. DeLorenzo previously served as the director of the master's program in nutrition and dietetics at SUNY Oneonta from 2014 until 2017. Earlier in her career, she worked at SUNY Oneonta as an assistant professor and the assistant director of the master's degree in nutrition and dietetics internship. She further found success as a medical science liaison for Abbott Nutrition. Dr. DeLorenzo began her career in the field was as a neonatal dietitian for the Albany Medical Center.
A registered dietitian, Dr. DeLorenzo earned a Bachelor of Science in dietetics from the University of Rhode Island in 2000. Subsequently, she obtained a Master of Science and a doctorate in clinical nutrition from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, which is now known as Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. She retains her professional alignment with the Commission on Dietetics Registration and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Likewise, Dr. DeLorenzo has contributed to her local dietetic association in the role of the president.
Utilizing her considerable expertise in nutrition, Dr. DeLorenzo provided her skills and resources as the reviewer for the World Journal of Pediatrics, the Journal of Nutrition, the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, the Global Journal of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the Advances in Obesity Weight Management and Control and many more. She also authored articles on various topics, including metabolic bone disease and cholestasis in the NICU, obesity, allergies and asthma, and post-discharge feedings for the preterm infant. Due to her outstanding accomplishments, she was honored with an Excellence in Customer Service Award from the Albany Medical Center in 2010 and an Excellence for Outstanding Clinical Performance from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2013.
