An accomplished listee, Mr. Beck celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Having accrued over 40 years of experience in the field, Mr. Beck currently contributes to the Montana House of Representatives as a member of District 6, a member of the human services committee, the vice chair of the business and labor committee, and the chair of the legislative administration committee. He further worked for the aforementioned political institutions as a member of the appropriations committee in 2007 and as a member of District 4 in 2004. Prior to those positons, Mr. Beck found success as the director of the public safety training police of fire and corrections from 1985 to 1989.

Mr. Beck began his career as the treasurer in the District of Columbia in 1975. This appointment remains among the highlights of his prolific professional experience. Mr. Beck previously served as an administrator in the Real Property Tax Service Center of the D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue from 1978 to 1983.

Mr. Beck initially pursued an education at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he received a Bachelor of Science in business. He completed further coursework in business at Central Michigan University, from which he graduated with a Master of Arts. Additionally, Mr. Beck is trained in COBOL programming and provided his knowledge as an IT representative for the Montana House of Representatives.

Notably, Mr. Beck completed his service in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1958. Among other grants and awards, he has accepted $300,000 grants for his restoration efforts from United States Senator Burns regarding the Save the Old Main Association and from the United States Department of the Interior in association with the Montana Heritage Commission. He was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor in the 1980s. Among several organizations, Mr. Beck is a valued member of the Knights of Columbus, the Whitefish Winter Carnival Association, the Whitefish chapter of Kiwanis International, the American Legion and the Stumptown Historical Society. He was a commissioner on the Whitefish County Board of Water and Sewer and is a lifetime member of the VFW. In 2003, Mr. Beck was selected as the King of The Winter Carnival (ULLR XLIII), by his peers.
