SIOUX FALLS, SD, October 16, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Nadia Judith Bijaoui has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Bijaoui is a system designer who specializes in the interactions of the body, mind, and brain within a psychoanalytic perspective. She has garnered a laudable reputation as the director of Bio Health Education Corp., which she founded in 2005. Bio Health Education (BHE) is a branded system promoting health and life projects created to maintain balance between physical, mental, and social wellness for homeostasis. BHE also extends the three levels of prevention of physical health to mental and social wellness. This is accomplished through the use of consultations, workshops, videos, retreats, and publications. Since 2017, selected BHE projects are being restructured as online platforms and videos for self-help and self-development.

Previously, Dr. Bijaoui served as an online instructional designer and health science faculty member at United States University between 2009 and 2014, and as a psychological assistant at Dr. MacLeay Psychological Services from 2003 to 2005. Earlier, she held an interim position at the University of Southern California - Advanced Bio Telecommunications & Bioinformatics Center. Dr. Bijaoui's inaugural position in the field was as a practicum internship coordinator and administrative assistant at The University of Southern California's Master of Public Health Office between 1999 and 2000. At different stages of her career, Dr. Bijaoui parleyed her talents to children's education from Montessori level through K-12 in California and in South Dakota. She also participated to the "No Child Left Behind" program pioneered during the early 2000s.

While residing in France, in 1969, Dr. Bijaoui was involved in a motorcycle accident which nearly took her life. Her recovery was long and arduous, but it inspired her quest for answers, which led her in pursuing the fields of psychology, preventive medicine, and neuroscience. This experience of survival after being declared dead provided the academic basis for her book, "The Other Side of the Curtain: Recovering from Deep Coma," published in 2017 and formatted as a case-study followed by scientific evidences. The writing of her book and her studies prompted the creation of Bio Health Education. "Learning and Growing from PTSD" (2009) is a Bio Health Education project and also constitutes Part 2 of her book, "The Other Side of The Curtain". In the book "Preamble", Dr. Bijaoui stated:

"It took much longer than anticipated to finalize the gatherings of my numerous and scattered notes, to find the explanation of the past in the future, to understand what I went through and why it happened. I needed to fully comprehend the physical and the metaphysical reasons for my survival to give wholeness and depth to a substantial and compelling, but otherwise plain, description of events. Being "Le miracle" of "L'Hôpital de La Timone" was not enough for my searching intellect. Eventually, the mystery of my complete recovery was solved. And my Cartesian mind was finally satisfied when logic—and science—explained the blurred, when I found The Seven Elements."

Furthermore, Dr. Bijaoui was the scribe of "Hate Is A Contagious Disease," in 2018, "Hate Is A Disease" in 2017, and "2018 Most Questionable Health News & BHE 2019 Wish Upon A Star" in 2019; all of which were articles written for Bio Health Education. She has hosted numerous workshops and presented prolifically in matters related to her career pursuits. To wit, she has continued to regularly present "Stress Understanding and Management of Stressors" on behalf of Bio Health Education since 2005. Moreover, she has delivered additional expositions for Bio Health Education, such as "Discover Your Nightlife! Dream Mysteries Decoded", "Viva La Difference! For Children With & Without Disabilities in Prevention/Reduction of Bullyism" between 2011 and 2013, and "Child Play Therapy" from 2005 to 2014. She has also produced a YouTube video regarding tips on how to manage stress. In order to remain aware of developments in her field of study, Dr. Bijaoui has maintained her professional affiliation with the Association of Interdisciplinary Doctors of Health Science and stay informed on research.

Dream science is another of Dr. Bijaoui's areas of expertise. Her book, "The Other Side of the Curtain", or the power of dreaming, narrates seven of her dreams. Recently, her research as the principal contributor of "Can Dream Science Be Used to Elicit Healthy Behaviors?", was published by the International Journal of Dream Research (2019). Her writing of "Can Dream Science Be Used to Elicit Healthy Behaviors?" took her further than expected when it led her to two major breakthroughs in dream science. The first breakthrough is an explanation of the paradox of the REM sleep. The second breakthrough is the correlation of dream recall to psychic wellness. Dr. Bijaoui's breakthroughs have not yet been contested or challenged by other scientists.

Similarly, Dr. Bijaoui was often told that she had been too in advance for her time. For instance, in the seventies and eighties, she was a pioneer on organic and natural matters for health. From the late eighties to early nineties, she created the first non-invasive system for cellular regeneration. From 2009 to 2012, her classification of "Obesity, a disease of adaptation to environmental and physiological stressors" surprised many. In 2013, AMA officially recognized obesity as a disease.

Well qualified in her field, Dr. Bijaoui initially pursued an education at the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor of Arts in French literature in 1999. She subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the Preventive Medicine Department of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in 2000. As she had fulfilled more than the required units for a bachelor degree, her classes were often at the master degree level. Dr. Bijaoui also graduated from The University of Southern California Neuroscience Department. Afterwards, she attended Antioch University, from which she received a Master of Arts in psychoeducational counseling in 2002. In 2008, Dr. Bijaoui attained a Doctor of Philosophy in psychoanalysis from the Southern California Psychoanalytic Institute and was certified as a research psychoanalyst through the Medical Board of California. She concluded her educational efforts at A.T. Still University, garnering a Doctor of Health Education in 2012.

In civic affairs, Dr. Bijaoui is an avid volunteer on behalf of various theater groups and nonprofit organizations. She has also contributed as a therapist on an ad-hoc basis for individuals in need, helped fundraise for children afflicted by leukemia, and volunteered in the service of senior citizens. Imbued with a deep well of compassion, Dr. Bijaoui has served as the conservator and mentor of an adult with Down Syndrome since 2003.

A leading light in her area of expertise, Dr. Bijaoui has been the recipient of numerous accolades. Inducted into the Association of Interdisciplinary Doctors of Health Science in 2014, she received a Certificate of Academic Excellence from her alma mater, A.T. Still University, in 2012. She is likewise an inductee of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, University of Southern California as of 2000, a member of the honorable society of Pi Phi Delta, and was bestowed with both a Certified Renaissance Scholar Recognition Award and a McNair scholarship from the University of Southern California in 2000 and 1999, respectively. Dr. Bijaoui was raised to the dean's list by University of Southern California for her excellent academic performance between 1997 and 1999.

In accounting for her success, Dr. Bijaoui credits her intuition to foresee and strategize and to her ability to adapt, integrating flexibility to her own deeply ingrained sense of determination. In addition to the difficult lessons imparted by her accident and the subsequent recovery process, she is further fortified by the love and care of her three children and eight grandchildren.

Looking forward to the future, Dr. Bijaoui aspires to continue translating biomedical advances into achievable behavioral practices in projects such as the online project she is presently working on, BHE - Self-Help & Self-Development System for integrated and healthy lifestyles, and always within a psychoanalytic perspective. She is planning to expand on one of her first researches about the effect of laughter on health (1999) and is also in researching the impact of the olfactory system on the brain.
