Visit Argentina Launches Vacation Home for the Braves Campaign

Media Activation Invites Travelers to Get to Know the Various Scenarios and Natural Wonders of Argentina

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, October 16, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- From the colorful landscapes of the North, to the mythical glaciers of Patagonia, Argentina has the most varied and magical scenarios that can be found in South America.

"Vacation Home for the Braves", a hilarious invitation to all travelers to get to know the various scenarios and natural wonders of Argentina.

Starring the stunt double of a popular American actor, the campaign connects an icon of American culture with the most varied and magical scenarios in Argentina so that the traveler is encouraged to be "the main character of your trip."

The three trailers, available on Visit Argentina's YouTube channel, feature scenarios where the Hollywood star's stunt double seems to be in serious trouble, beset by vertigo and the mystery of a strange landscape. Finally, the tension is relieved after an unexpected turn of the plot that shows the hero safe and out of danger, enjoying his vacation in peace in the most emblematic situations of the country.

Each video showcases a different side of Argentina including the roaring Iguazú Falls, the challenging ski slopes of Patagonia and the vibrant city of Buenos Aires.

As the US is one of the most important markets for the Ministry of Tourism of Argentina, the purpose of the videos was to pique the interest of the audience with the simulation of a typical action movie.

During 2018, the arrival of North American travelers to the country increased 7.4% compared to the previous year, exceeding 420 thousand annual tourists. In addition, in the first seven months of 2019, Argentina received more than 290 thousand people from the United States, 14.5% more than in the same period of 2018.

That was the proper intro to reach an amusing and relaxed ending showing the main character enjoying local offer. Independently from the catching video, what the campaign looked for was for North American tourists to be part of Argentina's experience, feeling plenty safe in a far-away destination.
