•Advocate for public policy solutions to end hunger and to shorten the line at food banks, lobbying for continued funding of federal hunger relief programs, and for public policies that help communities prevent and divert waste from landfills, including recycling, composting and sustainability programs that can be scaled for maximum impact.
•Encouraging the adoption of cutting-edge technologies by women producers.
•Identifying lines of action for agricultural innovation that benefit women and reduce their workload.
•Enhancing the participation of women in government bodies and food companies to prevent and divert waste from landfills, including recycling, composting and sustainability programs that can be scaled for maximum impact.
•Collecting data on access to productive resources and the use of the time that are disaggregated by Gender to understand the role of women in agriculture and quantify their workload.

Women that are inspiring others and creating a better food system around the world will be recognized with the Global Voice Award for Food Sustainability.
