Dr. Richard H. Creech is an elected fellow of the American College of Physicians and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

Dr. Creech is a retired medical oncologist, clinical researcher, educator, and administrator who concluded his career after 22 years as chairman of the department of medicine at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia in 2014. He also served as the division chief of medical oncology at Temple University Hospital and as an adjunct professor of medicine at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia until 2010. Dr. Creech formerly held staff positions at Philadelphia General Hospital, the American Oncologic Hospital (AOH), and Holy Redeemer Hospital. As adjunct associate professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, he taught medical oncology to medical students, residents, and fellows at AOH/Fox Chase. He currently remains active as a medico-legal consultant in both hematology and oncology.

Enjoying many wonderful opportunities during his medical career, Dr. Creech was notably one of only four medical oncologists to begin working at the American Oncologic Hospital in 1972. Growing the facility exponentially, it later became known as the Fox Chase Cancer Center. During his twelve years at Fox Chase, as principal investigator, he initiated the clinical cancer trials of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group and published his independent research on breast cancer treatment. While serving as the chairman of medicine at Jeanes Hospital, Dr. Creech was also responsible for developing a continuing medical education program for staff physicians and rotating medical students and residents from the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.

Dr. Creech initially graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor's degree in 1961. Subsequently, he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1965. Additional academic pursuits included a medical internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a fellowship in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute, and a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a diplomat in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Creech is an elected fellow of the American College of Physicians and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association for Cancer Research, and the Philadelphia County Medical Society. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Creech has been featured in Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World.
