"We felt this was a nice way to help in a different way. No one should go hungry, but particularly at Thanksgiving"
LAGRANGE, IL, November 24, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dixon Law Office shopped for 19 Thanksgiving meals and then donated the food to the Westchester Food Pantry. This past Thursday, the entire law firm went to Tony's Finer Foods in Countryside and bought 19 turkeys, 19 boxes of stuffing, 19 apple pies and all the other food to make a Thanksgiving dinner. The team then delivered the load of food to the Westchester Food Pantry so they could distribute it to the community.
"We have been blessed to serve the Chicagoland area for 19 years," said Dixon Law Office founder, G. Grant Dixon III. "This a fun way for us to celebrate 19 years of business while doing good at the same time," he said.
Doing good is a core part of the Dixon Law Office business. "In our 19 years in business, we have helped thousands of families get justice at a time when they need it most, after they are injured in an accident. We felt this was a nice way to help in a different way. No one should go hungry, but particularly at Thanksgiving," Grant said.
The 19 meals will feed 76 people in the community. The food pantry serves hundreds of families and has recently added military families to their list of supported groups.
