During his youth, Mr. Royal became noteworthy as an active athlete. Today, he is a successful independent financial service professional and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He graduated from Florida State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He then earned a Master of Arts in religion from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, in 2006. His career in the field of financial services began in 2009. Through networking and with the help of his father and friends, he was able to soar to great heights. Now he is the president of a financial services company and a property and casualty company Dan Royal Insurance LLC.
Before he ventured into financial services, Mr. Royal devoted himself to athletics. In 2004, he was a track & field intern at his undergraduate alma mater FSU & was all ACC. He was a part of USA Track & Field from 2006 to 2008, the North American Strongman, Inc. in 2005, The Scottish Highland Games 2005-2012 and was a member of the USA National Bobsled Team from 2010 to 2011. As he wished to share his knowledge and experience with future generations, he volunteered as a Track & Field coach for the University of Richmond between 2006 and 2008. Mr. Royal also coached the Fort Myers High School State Championship Basketball team in 2010.
Mr. Royal's love for and dedication to sports led to international recognition, he ranked 8th at the USA Track & Field Championships in 2007 and 20th in the world. At one point, he held 75 athletic records in track and field as well as his other sports. He notes that his most glorious athletic achievement was when he was announced as a USA National Bobsled Team member in 2010. He was able to combine his love for sports and Jesus Christ, as an area representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 2006 to 2008, and 2011 to 2012. Mr. Royal celebrates not only his athletic achievements, but he has also accrued accolades for his professional endeavors, including the prestigious 5-Star Insurance Professional Award from Gulfshore Life Magazine in 2014 and 2016, and the 5-Star Insurance Professional Dual Industry Award in 2016. Mr. Royal also was named to Leaders in 2015 by one of the large insurance companies he has worked with.
With a strong belief that the Lord has a purpose for everything, Mr. Royal hopes to continue to do what The Lord has called him to and the dedication that entails, for many years to come. He continues to live by his motto, "Live your life for the Lord, and do what He calls you to do with your life." Mr. Royal also wishes to share his graces and experiences with everyone so that they, too, can achieve great things with faith.
