In Sharpe's award winning novels, angel play a central role, as they do in Western culture during the Holiday season. At this time of year, stories and depictions of angels seem to be everywhere. Angels are portrayed as both messengers and guides. Those of us who believe in angels credit them with all manner of kind and good works, and look to them for guidance.
"Since childhood I've believed angels are always near," Sharpe stated. "After losing my precious daughter a message in a dream from an angel gave me hope. Then I met a man I think was a real angel. My angel stories come from these loving angels on my shoulders."

Jody Sharpe had a rewarding career as a Special Education teacher. Writing about angels became healing after losing her daughter and then her husband.
