SALT LAKE CITY, UT, January 27, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Repp has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A driven and respected voice in his community. Mr. Repp excels in public relations, community outreach, and patron liaison for THE SUNTRAPP. The SUNTRAPP is a combination of two of the longest standing LGBTQ+ bars. THE SUN, which was destroyed in the tornado on August 11, 1999, and the TRAPP. A very close family friend, Rob Goulding, purchased The Trapp and combined both names to create THE SUNTRAPP. Upon Rob's passing in 2017, the bar was left to Mr. Repp's partner Riley, and Rob's brother, Michael. In holding true to Rob's hope of creating an inclusive safe haven for the Salt Lake City LGBTQ+ community.

THE SUNTRAPP is widely known for serving draft beer and a wide selection of Long Island iced teas in largemouth mason jars. THE SUNTRAPP is deceivingly modest from the outside; however the interior and patios encompass 4500 feet of inclusive lifestyle happenings. While striving to continue building an inclusive safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community Mr. Repp has had a profound impact on THE SUNTRAPP's reputation and customer base since beginning in 2015.

Furthermore, Michael Repp is a member of the Utah Gay Rodeo Association, the American Board of Hair Colorists, and works behind the chair. He is also affiliated with the University of Utah Clinic 1A community PrEP clinic and the Royal Court of the Golden Spike Empire. Mr. Repp attributes his success and drive to growing up on a farm with strict parents who pushed him to value hard work and positive outcomes. In light of these exemplary accomplishments, Mr. Repp has been nominated for the Dr. Kristen Reese Humanitarian Award.

The highlight of Mr. Repp's career has been his involvement in building a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community and Utah and maintaining a long-standing tradition of the bar of inviting community members who have been displaced from their families either by choice or judgment to have dinner at the bar for both Christmas and Thanksgiving; by maintaining this simple act of kindness and respect that Rob was so proud to do for their community, they were featured in a national publication called THE BUZZ.

Looking towards the future Mr. Repp hopes to be doing the exact same thing he is doing today in striving to have inclusion and safeness within the LGBTQ+ community.
